On The Hook Fish And Chips is a dynamic food truck operation that began in 2016. With a commitment to excellence, we specialize in serving wild-caught Alaskan cod, expertly beer-battered and paired with house-made sauces. Urgently hiring! We are seeking enthusiastic Food Truck Staff to join our Iowa team. Our food truck workers have amazing earning potential typically making around $1200-$1800 per week average. Work shifts are Tuesday-Saturdays and are typically 50-57 hours per week (with traveling to serving locations within Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food items according to our established recipes and standards.
Ensure proper food handling and safety protocols are followed at all times.
Assist customers with their orders, promote menu items and upsell additional products while maintaining excellent customer service.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck and kitchen area.
Manage inventory and assist with stock replenishment as needed
Requirements

Background checks are required.
Overnight travel is required.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record is required.
Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred.
Strong understanding of food safety and handling practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
Experience driving a medium duty truck is preferred but not required.
